Module One focuses on providing an introduction to peace and human rights with a thematic emphasis on developing the concept of peace, as well as collective memory. Learners will engage with curated multimedia designed to foster dialogue around the cultivation of peace in local and global communities through collective memory.

Module Two focuses on the conflict and post-conflict environments of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a thematic emphasis on youth-led revolutions for peace, othering, and identity politics. Learners will engage with curated multimedia designed to foster dialogue around the impact of war on youth; youth contributions to rebuilding post-conflict environments.

Module Three focuses on Lebanon with a thematic emphasis on the connection between silence and peace, as well as the role imagination plays in fostering peace. Learners will engage with curated multimedia designed to foster dialogue and around the link between inner peace and outer peace, in addition to exploring how imagination and communication can aid in the facilitation of that peace.

Module Four focuses on the communities of Colombia with a thematic emphasis on the power of youth-led grassroots movements in response to generational trauma. Learners will engage with curated multimedia designed to facilitate dialogue around the impact of conflict on communities, as well as how grassroots initiatives can strengthen trust and foster sustainable peace.

Module Five focuses on the country of Afghanistan with a thematic emphasis on girls’ right to education, as well as music as peace. Learners will engage with curated multimedia designed to foster dialogue around the complexities of accessing education during times of crisis, as well as the transformative and healing power of music as a form of education.

Module Six focuses on the complexities of post-conflict Rwanda with a thematic emphasis on reconciliation and remembrance. Learners will engage with curated multimedia designed to foster dialogue around the remembrance of victims of war and the possibility of reconciliation with perpetrators of war crimes.

Module Seven focuses on the evolving political landscape of Northern Ireland with a thematic emphasis on dialogue and reconciliation. Learners will engage with curated multimedia designed to foster critical thinking around the art of negotiating dialogue in conflict and post conflict communities where othering has produced factions.
